Julius Kandeh-Kanu


Mr Julius Kandeh-Kanu serves as Deputy chairman and also doubles as the Developmental Consultant/Internal Risk & Audit Officer for GPCD. He is a Sierra Leonean by nationality, he holds a Master's degree in Adult Education and Development Management M.Ed, a Bachelor of Education with Honors (B.Ed Hons) in Adult Education and Community Development Studies, a Diploma in Adult Education from the Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. Diploma in Human Resource Management College of Journalism and Management, National Technician Certificate (NTC) in Hotel Management Food and Beverage Production and Service, Milton Margai College of Education and Technology. Later obtained a Certificate on African Official Training Program on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) from the Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) South Korea, sponsored by the African Development Bank (AfDB), a Certificate of Participation in Improving Access to Financial and Non-Financial Services for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Sierra Leone from the International Training Centre, sponsored by International Labour Organization (ILO).

He has served in various capacities, Administrative Officer (Outreach and Public Education), Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDA), Executive Director, Campaign for the Voiceless (CAMPVO), an indigenous Local community-based Civil Society Organization, Assistant Human Resource Officer and Public Relations Officer, Freetown Waste Management Company, Research, Planning, and Development officer, Universal Peace Federation, Sierra Leone Chapter, Proprietor and Managing Editor, Opinion Pools Newspaper.
